A home buyer sees a home they love! They want to make an offer and know they need to get pre-qualified beforehand. They call one of those 1-800's numbers on TV, get pre-approved and make an offer. Not too many communication happens between buyer and lender/officer. A few days before closing, buyer get a closing cost statement. WHAT?!?! THAT much????? They don't have the money to pay that amount and the deal may fall out. A survey held by ClosingCorp show more than half of buyers did not know the cost of getting their mortgage. Those horrible situations that may have been averted with better communication between parties involved. You usually get better service with a local loan officer than a huge corporation where you are just a case number. There are pros and cons for using big corporation lenders but for a better service, a good and diligent officer will be there to answer any questions and keep you informed of any fees or cost that will come through.
If you don't know any reputable officers, contact me for some recommendations. I know some personally and closed on time. You can email me at email@example.com or call/text at (916) 350-0602. I am here to help and serve our community.
